The high profile project involved building original substation for Musco Steel Company Ltd.,
India in Khopoli near Pune. The substation will substantially increase its reliability and reinforce
supply to Musco's activities in the region along with 50 MVA Additional bay and transformer
switchyard for their new blast furnace. It is the major interconnection point of electrical supply
for Musco from the nearest power MSEB generator.

This project is one of the largest substations and the most modern, on Musco's extensive network.
Entraco utilized innovative engineering solutions complemented with its expert team to complete
the project before deadline no production downtime.

Musco's representative "Entraco's guiding principle in the design and construction of substation
was to ensure security of supply while being environmentally and socially responsible.
Environmental considerations were at the forefront of Musco's planning and implementation of
the new substation".
